Cleaning of non-removable tube bundle and plate heat exchangers soon with fully automated FluidMaster system

Kipp Umwelttechnik has been cleaning all types of heat transfer systems nationally and internationally for many years. Up to now, the focus has been on cleaning systems for industrial customers. The patented systems from sister company mycon were used. The collaboration has also resulted in new devices and new application possibilities. This successful cooperation makes it possible for Kipp Umwelttechnik to offer customers a successful and efficient service even in difficult cases.

Cleaning of fin, tube bundle and plate heat exchangers

Closed and non-removable tube bundle and plate heat exchanger systems can usually only be cleaned using the flushing process, which Kipp Umwelttechnik has also used in the past. The sister company mycon will soon be launching the new automated flushing system FluidMaster, which was developed in close cooperation with Kipp Umwelttechnik GmbH. Kipp Umwelttechnik will be using this system for servicing in the future, but FluidMaster will also be available for hire in the foreseeable future. Our chemist will be happy to advise you on the use of chemicals for cleaning, disinfection and the choice of operating materials.

Kipp Umwelttechnik has also been active in the building management sector for some time and was able to conclude a framework agreement for the annual cleaning of finned heat exchangers with a total area of 7000 m² at two neighboring locations, for example, as the most favorable bidder. The JetMaster process used by Kipp Umwelttechnik enables the surfaces to be cleaned quickly, gently and thoroughly. The extremely low water consumption without chemical additives enables work to be carried out in sensitive areas without complex protective measures.

Kipp Umwelttechnik will continue to strengthen its position in this area in the future. For large sites, Kipp Umwelttechnik also offers the creation of a digital cadastre with precise documentation of the location, accessibility, surroundings, condition and other special circumstances. The cleaning date is also entered. This provides the customer with an immediate and precise overview. Kipp Umwelttechnik assumes that this register can be supplemented in the foreseeable future by a monitoring system for the condition of the exchangers. The cadastre is already being designed for later retrofitting. The monitoring system is currently being developed by our sister company mycon in collaboration with the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences as part of the BAFA funding project (energy-saving meters). This development is already well advanced.
