Kipp Umwelttechnik GmbH was founded in 1991 as a sister company of the construction company Jens W. Kipp Tiefbau GmbH, which has been in existence since 1971. Both companies are still in businesses.

The group from Kipp Umwelttechnik GmbH and Jens W. Kipp Tiefbau GmbH has been supplemented by mycon GmbH

since 2002.
