Successful cleaning of particle filter from locomotive
A new customer from the rail sector asked about cleaning options for its exhaust particulate filters used in locomotives. Previous cleaning attempts had not been successful. The front sides of the filters were clean due to the previous cleaning attempts, but the inside of the filter was still very dirty, especially the space between the exhaust particulate filter and the catalytic converter.
An application of the patented FilterMaster process, which was specially developed for long filters, was used. The cleaning was carried out quickly and without any problems, and considerable soot/ash residues were removed.
The cleaning success shows: FilterMaster reliably cleans soot particle filters of all sizes and types, from car filters to van filters, truck particle filters, bus particle filters, ship filters and large filters from locomotives.
