Waste incineration plants

Kipp Umwelttechnik GmbH offers manual and semi-automated cleaning options

The JetMaster from sister company mycon GmbH is environmentally friendly and saves resources. The water consumption is extremely low at 0.20 – 1.00 l clear water per minute of use. JetMaster works without the addition of chemicals. In contrast to other aqueous cleaning processes, this also greatly reduces the amount of wastewater, which is only contaminated by the mostly harmless soiling of the surfaces in this area. An investigation of the LuKo in a customer’s system revealed some surprising findings. The performance of the tested air-cooled condenser drops to up to 57% of the rated capacity between 2 cleanings at intervals of 5 months (beginning of April and end of August) due to fouling. This leads to a 5.6% reduction in waste incineration and 7.9% less electricity production in these 5 months. If, on the other hand, the LuKo is cleaned on demand, its output does not fall below 95%, which means that the slumps in production can be largely avoided.

Cleaning cooling towers

The pipes in the cooling tower were occasionally fed with calcareous water. As a result, an armor of hard limestone had developed around the pipes. The JetMaster combination system successfully cleaned the outer surfaces of the pipes. Zinc coating – which had already been destroyed by previous chemical cleaning – is not attacked by JetMaster.

The entire JetMaster combination system (incl. JetPower) is used for cleaning surfaces with limescale residues. You can find more information on the JetMaster combination system on the JetMaster product page of our sister company mycon GmbH.
