The CO2 used to clean surfaces is almost exclusively recovered from industrial waste gases. Environmental pollution is caused solely by the energy consumption for recovery/liquefaction and transportation. Cleaning with CO2 is therefore an absolutely environmentally friendly and residue-free process. IceMaster is the modern process for industrial cleaning with dry ice / dry snow.

Kipp Umwelttechnik GmbH uses the JetMaster from mycon GmbH to clean all types of heat exchangers in an environmentally friendly and resource-saving manner. The water consumption is extremely low at 0.20 – 1.00 l clear water per minute of use. JetMaster works without the addition of chemicals. In contrast to other aqueous cleaning processes, this also greatly reduces the amount of wastewater, which is only contaminated by the mostly harmless soiling of the surfaces in this area.

The pipes in the cooling tower were occasionally fed with calcareous water. As a result, an armor of hard limestone had developed around the pipes. The JetMaster combination system successfully cleaned the outer surfaces of the pipes. Zinc coating – which had already been destroyed by previous chemical cleaning – is not attacked by JetMaster.
