A coating device

CoverMaster offers significant cost savings of up to 50% and more compared to conventional systems.

CoverMaster can be operated as a single or multi-line system with high throughput speeds of up to 80 m per minute or more. Even higher throughput speeds can be achieved with a special design.

Depending on the requirements, CoverMaster consists of one or more coating heads, the storage tank for the medium and the systems for conveying and controlling the medium temperature. In addition, mycon GmbH takes over the integration of the control technology into the production and transport line as well as the entire system through to commissioning.

Advantages of the CoverMaster

CoverMaster can process almost all paints, varnishes and anti-corrosion coatings – even media that cannot normally be sprayed. The operating costs of CoverMaster are extremely low, as there is almost no overspray. Material savings of up to 50 % and more can be achieved. In addition, CoverMaster only requires very small amounts of compressed air, usually between 30 l and 60 l per minute per coating head, depending on the size of the part to be coated.

Another advantage is the compact design of the CoverMaster’s coating head from a length of approx. 600 mm. This means that CoverMaster can be easily integrated into almost any existing production line. Thanks to its particularly robust, modular design, the investment required for CoverMaster is in the lower range of comparably powerful systems.

mycon GmbH also offers various pre-treatment systems with liquid CO2, dry ice or chemicals for cleaning before coating with CoverMaster. These pre-treatment systems can be tailored precisely to the customer’s needs and also work at high throughput rates.
