Blasting made easy with Mini-PowerMaster

Mini-PowerMaster is the lighter and handier version of the PowerMaster system. The blasting pot of the Mini-PowerMaster is significantly smaller. The smaller tank volume is advantageous when using water-soluble abrasives in regions with high humidity, especially if a dryer with a dew point of -10°C is not available. Otherwise, the performance data of the Mini-PowerMaster is identical to that of the larger PowerMaster appliance.

Mini-PowerMaster is a new blasting system that works with compressed air and water-soluble blasting agents. If necessary, small amounts of water can be dosed and added.

The new cleaning process is based on an environmentally friendly and water-soluble granulate that is introduced into a stream of compressed air. The granulate is moistened with water shortly before discharge in order to increase the kinetic energy. Due to the soft granules, metallic surfaces are not attacked at all and other surfaces only minimally or not at all.

Mini-PowerMaster is used, for example, to clean and remove coatings from pipes (inner and outer surfaces), rods, strips, profiles and wires. The system operates cost-effectively in the low-pressure range between 3 and – depending on the system type – a maximum of 8 bar compressed air, with a low water consumption of 0.5 to 2 liters per minute. Depending on the application, the blasting speed can be subsonic or supersonic.

The abrasives recommended by mycon can also be used to clean or coat polished stainless steel surfaces or light metal surfaces without visibly damaging the metal surfaces. Films, paints, varnishes, resins, greases, bituminous layers or release agents on molds can be removed gently, quickly and economically with Mini-PowerMaster. PowerMaster can also be used to clean and remove coatings from plastic surfaces.

The possible uses of the Mini-PowerMaster: The Mini-PowerMaster can be used to clean large areas with special nozzles up to 160 mm wide. Mini-PowerMaster works with the addition of extremely gentle blasting agents to remove lighter contaminants. Vehicles, vehicle rims, but also glass, plastics or building facades of any kind can be cleaned intensively and gently with high surface performance.
