Kipp Umwelttechnik GmbH expands its range of services with the new cleaning systems from mycon GmbH

Cleaning of non-detachable tube bundle and plate heat exchangers soon possible with fully automated FluidMaster system

Kipp Umwelttechnik has been cleaning heat transfer systems of all types nationally and internationally for years. Until now, the main focus has been on cleaning systems for industrial customers. The patented systems of the sister company mycon were used. The cooperation has resulted in new devices and new application possibilities. This successful cooperation makes it possible for Kipp Umwelttechnik to offer customers a successful and efficient service even in difficult cases.

Cleaning of finned, tube bundle and plate heat exchangers

Closed and non-removable tube bundle and plate heat exchanger systems can usually only be cleaned using the rinsing process with which Kipp Umwelttechnik has previously cleaned. The sister company mycon will shortly be launching the new automated flushing system FluidMaster, which was developed in close cooperation with Kipp Umwelttechnik GmbH. Kipp Umwelttechnik will use this system in the future for service, but FluidMaster will also be available for rent in the short future. Our chemist is at your disposal for advice and the use of chemicals for cleaning, disinfection and the selection of the equipment.

Kipp Umwelttechnik has also been increasingly active in the building management sector for some time now and, as the cheapest bidder, was able to conclude a framework agreement for the annual cleaning of finned heat exchangers with a total area of 7000 m² at two neighbouring locations. The JetMaster process used by Kipp Umwelttechnik enables fast, gentle and thorough cleaning of the surfaces. The extremely low water consumption without chemical additives makes it possible to work even in sensitive areas without costly protective measures.

Kipp Umwelttechnik will continue to strengthen its position in this area in the future. In the case of large sites, Kipp Umwelttechnik also offers the creation of a digital cadastre with precise documentation of the location, accessibility, environment, condition and other special circumstances. In addition, the cleaning date is entered. This provides the customer with an immediate and accurate overview. Kipp Umwelttechnik assumes that this cadastre can be supplemented in the foreseeable future by a monitoring system for the condition of the exchangers. The cadastre is already being designed for upgrade. The cadastre or monitoring system is currently being developed by our sister company mycon in cooperation with the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences as part of the BAFA funding project (smart meters). This development is already well advanced.
